Sicur Jet

Utilization of structural GRP elements to reinforce the front and the perimeter of excavation in tunnel construction is today a very common practice , especially for full boring in difficult soils.

Today’s state of the art for treatment by means of Jet ground columns, reinforced with GRP tubes, requires the introduction by pushing these tubes in the unsettled mortar.

Sometimes this operation is rendered difficult because of the collapsing of the soil within the hole. Consequently it is necessary to wait for total curing of the concrete of the column before executing a new perforation in the center of the same.


	Instead, with the Sicur Jet system , the introduction of the tube occurs simultaneously with the perforation and the advancement of the Jetting. Once completed the perforation and the relative Jet Ground column, the tube is simply left in the hole as armature.
