When the vent shafts will need later to be crossed by the TBM, it is very useful, if not necessary to utilize GRP reinforcements in the areas to be crossed.

ATP has developed for this purpose a complete  set of “Rockworm” pre- curved rods that can be supplied with lengths and curvature radii as needed.
