SEACON aims at demostrating the safe utilization of seawater and salt-contaminated aggrgates ( natural or recycled ) foe a sustainable concrete production when combined with noncorrosive reinforcement to construct durable and economical concrete infrastructure.
In addition to life-cycle assesment and life-cycle costing analyses used as drivingtools for the assesment of the developed solutions, two real-size demostration prijects will be undertaken at location with different microclimates to provide the opportunity for long-tern performance monitoring.
